The Jr. Calypso Monarch Finals echoes with talent and the National Jr. Panorama Finals is followed by the Jr. Kings, Queens & Individuals Preliminaries. The Calypso Fiesta stirs passions in Trinidad and the National School Soca Monarch Competition echoes with young talent followed by a note of royalty with the Kings and Queens Preliminaries (Seniors). As a hot happening, the Regatta Villa takes place at the Crown Point Beach Resort at Store Bay and displays yacht racing in four categories with charter, liveaboard, cruising and racing. Held in the middle of February with games and parties, this popular Caribbean race week was earlier known as the Angostura Yachting World Regatta.
February begins with harmonic notes and displays the Young Kings Calypso Monarch Final followed by the Extempo Preliminaries at TBA and the sizzling event of Carnival Under The Trees. Showcasing excitement and dimensions of fun, the National Extempo & Limbo Prelims brings on versatility followed by the sporting event of the National Stick Fight Competition and a delightful interlude with the Final 4 Kings & Queens Prelims. The Downtown Carnival Launch takes place at the City Hall followed by the International Soca Monarch Semi-Finals and Misty Ridge All-Inclusive Hadeed Ranch. With delicious abandon, the Wild Meat All-Inclusive Fete goes on a tasteful travel and the incredible Voodoo Fete brings in a mysterious tone. With serious fun, the Army Fete is held at the Queens Park, Savannah, Port of Spain, while the Chutney Stars Under the Trees takes off with merry music. The Arima Boys RC Fete is followed by the Bishop East Fete and the Couva Carnival - Photo shoot with Miss Central Trinidad Carnival Queen delegates takes the tourists and the locals on a carousel of non-stop fun.
As the days slip into a whirlwind of events, Trinidad and Tobago takes their merrymakers on a culture cruise with the Just 4 U 10 Fete, Entertainment by The HD Family and Karma and the Canal concert series with Jam It! rocks through the islands! As the measured beats go on, the Calypso 'Fiesta' Monarch Semi-Final hikes up the mood followed by the Randy Glasgow Productions' Chutney Brass 2010 - Chutney Meets Bollywood at Guaracara Park, Pointe-a-Pierre. The Ladies Night Out showcases glam and glitz at the Pierre Complex, Wrightson Road, Port of Spain, while the islands offer events for all ages with disarming festivals that include categories for the Red Cross Children's Carnival include Babes in Arms, Boys & Girls 3-5, Boys & Girls 6-8, Floats, Boys & Girls 9-11, Boys & Girls 12-15, Couples, Small, Medium & Large Bands and the Red Cross Junior Carnival King & Queen.
