MYSTERIOUS. MESMERIZING. MARVELOUS.

Does the call of wild blue yonder echo around you? Do the exotic colors of the coral reefs, sponges and the beautiful aquatic life mesmerize your senses? Do the mysteries of deep excite the core of your being? Then, Tobago, a tiny island in the Caribbean is your dream destination. Take off on a magic ride over the shimmering sea to explore the incredible, irresistible and intriguing Cayman walls. Go on an unforgettable adventure where you will discover tarpon, turtles, eagle rays, nurse sharks and a spectrum of rainbow hued tropical fish.

The Caribbean island of Tobago as a hot spot for holidaymakers and vacationers offers the stuff that dreams are made of. If you are a sailing or a snorkeling enthusiast, Tobago draws you with a dynamic force to the leeward side of the island from where you can go sailing, snorkeling and swimming. With its lovely bays lapped by calm blue waters and surrounded by gorgeous views, this magical island guides you into a world where Nature wraps your body, mind and soul with the aura of serenity, tranquility and wonder.

Go on a wind-kissed sailing tour with experienced sailing tour operators from the starting points of Mt. Irvine Bay or Pigeon Point that follows the contours the beautiful Caribbean coast. As you skim over the calm waters and bask in the sun, the tour operator points out the attractive and naturally sculpted beautiful spots of the island and the ideal snorkeling areas. The sailing tour is punctuated with stops at the most beautiful snorkeling sites where your discovery of the mysterious depths and the creatures of the sea transform into a spiritual sojourn. While you enjoy the cuisine of the Caribbean in exotic surroundings, your sailing trip offers yet another memorable snorkeling adventure to add to the thrill of a great vacation. The magic goes on as the lovely bays and beaches come into view.

THE CRAFT OF A PERFECT HOLIDAY

As the attractions of Tobago carry you away into a haven of delight make sure you take a day trip to enjoy the island’s water on a boat that has been surveyed and inspected by the local government. The licensed boats are not only insured but also have a Motor Launch registration license on board. These boats ensure safety standards and have a competent crew. When a boat is inspected by the government, it will have a registration number that displays a ‘TL’ plus a three-digit number. Check the identification of the registration and the tour operator and in case they do not possess the necessary documents, then find another sailing tour operator. Avoid vessels that bear lettering such as, ‘TFT’ or ‘TFG’ with the registration number followed by a four digit number. Start your search again for another operator because this will be just a fishing vessel and not a licensed tour operator.

As you enjoy your vacation trip in the wonderland of Tobago, stop off to rest and enjoy good accommodation at Half Moon Blue Resorts, the French colonial resort at the Donkey Cart House, Bacelot Bay, Tobago. Give your holiday the perfect finish with a fairy tale ending at Half Moon Blue where the art of Creole cuisine is crafted by true blue Caribbean hospitality.
